Nationwide Delivery and Collection

88 Events‘ Hire service is available nationwide in the UK and mainland Europe. Recently, we‘ve delivered candelabras to Cannes, charger plates and linen to Monaco, china and glassware to Westminster as well as regular deliveries to practically every main metropolitan area in the UK.

The nature of your hire order will determine the method of transport we use to deliver your order:

  • Linen Only - This will be delivered by 88 Events‘ own vehicles or our preferred carrier. Price is dependent on weight and distance, but generally you should expect to pay in the region of £25-£75 return, i.e. goods delivered day before your event and collected the day after (Fri/Mon if event is at weekend).


  • Candelabras - We can generally transport most of our candelabras by carrier in our special hard boxes, however you must ensure that the goods are packed well enough (similar to the way they were sent) to ensure their safe arrival back at 88 Events. Carriage costs will vary but generally it will be between £25 and £200 dependent on product and location.


  • Glass Products/Charger Plates - All glassware products and charger plates require to be delivered on a dedicated van. If your venue is within 100-150 miles from the Glasgow area, or a main metropolitan centre then costs for this should be reasonable. For distances greater than 150 miles, POA, however please note for small orders, the costs can be prohibitive.


All large glassware, charger plate and china orders are treated on a case by case basis so speak to a sales advisor who will happily assist.
